Allen retiring from Consolidated-Tomoka

Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. Chairman Bob D. Allen announced Wednesday he is retiring in April. Allen will leave April 23 at the close of the Daytona Beach-based company's annual meeting of shareholders.

Board member John C. Adams says Allen "contributed immeasurably" to the success of the company since he was hired as CEO in 1990.

A replacement for Allen has not been named.

Consolidated-Tomoka is a Florida-based company engaged in converting company-owned agricultural lands into a portfolio of income properties strategically located throughout the Southeast, as well as development, management and sale of targeted real estate properties.
